Where are you based?
We’re based in Cambridge and Rutland.

What areas / locations do you cover?
We plan weddings and celebrations throughout the UK for couples from around the world. This year our weddings span the breadth of the UK, including marquee weddings in Scotland, Surrey, the Cotswolds and Dorset, and at venues including Cornwell Manor, Findon Place, St Giles House, NoMad London, the iconic Temperate House at Kew Gardens and of course Holywell Hall.

What wedding planning services do you offer?
We specialise in full-service wedding planning and wedding day management.

Do you plan marquee weddings?
On average, at least 50% of our couples choose to host their weddings at-home or at exclusive-use marquee wedding venues. We have over 10 years of experience working in a range of styles of marquee, from sail and Sperry tents to glass conservatories and orangeries, traditional wooden frames to clearspan structures.

Do you plan destination weddings?
UK weddings are what we know and love, so we focus on planning here in the UK. We can definitely help you if you’re wanting to get married in the UK but live or work overseas and can be flexible with our time, working around you, your schedule and any time differences imposed.

What about pre and post events i.e. a welcome dinner or post wedding brunch?
Pre and post events and wedding weekends are all included in Full Wedding Planning.

For Wedding Day Management with Kate, additional support days can also be added, if required.

What style of wedding do you plan?
Our job is to understand, draw upon and interpret your style. That said, our clients usually have a strong focus and passion for elevated designs, exceptional food and wine, wildly abundant florals, distinctive touches and an incredible guest experience.

How much do you charge?
For Full Wedding Planning we charge a percentage of the overall wedding budget. Tiered minimum fees apply, subject to the lead planner.

For Wedding Day Management, Kate’s support services start from £2,000. Additional days for pre and post events, set-up and collections can also be added, if required.

For a full breakdown of what each service entails, including an overview of our rates and minimum fees, please do get in touch to arrange a no-obligation consultation and to receive a copy of our brochure.

Are there any additional fees we should know about?
You’ll be provided with a bespoke quotation following our initial consultation and kept up to date at every stage regarding budgets. We don’t add commission for any referrals and are fully transparent with any quotations and invoices received.

Do you charge extra for travel and accommodation?
Ultimately this depends on where you’re based and where you’re getting married. If travel and accommodation costs are applicable, we’ll always make you aware of this at the consultation stage.

Can you fix your fee rather than charging a percentage?
Absolutely, and if this is a route you’d prefer to take then just let us know.

What are your payment terms?
Payment terms are subject to how long we’ll be working together, and which support service you choose.

For Full Wedding Planning there’s an initial 40% deposit (of our minimum fee) to secure the date and our services. A 2nd payment is then due part the way through the planning process, with the remaining balance payable 4 weeks prior to the wedding.

For Wedding Day Management with Kate, payments are split on a 50% deposit and 50% balance basis.

Do you have preferred suppliers that you work with? And do we have to use those suppliers?
We work alongside some of the best suppliers in the industry, which means that we’re uniquely placed to recommend the suppliers that we know will be able to bring your ideas to life with passion and dedication. But recommendations are all that they ever are. It’s your wedding and we’re here to facilitate your ideas and decisions. We also love working with new suppliers, especially those that have a similar style and ethos to our own.

How many weddings do you work on at any one time?
We devote a huge amount of time and energy to each client and work exclusively for a limited number of full plan wedding clients each year. It’s therefore a good idea to get in touch as soon as possible (ideally at least a year in advance), especially if you plan on having a summer wedding.

Are you free to meet up / talk in the evening or at weekends?
Yes, we keep our schedules flexible and can absolutely accommodate evening and weekend calls, Zooms and face to face meetings.

Are you insured?
We’re fully insured with public liability insurance.

Do you plan parties and events?
Yes, both! We love nothing more than an epic party and the skills needed to plan a wedding also happen to create unforgettable celebrations.
